Samurai Ventures buys 2 buildings in Hamilton, Canada, for $26.5m

Samurai Ventures, half owned by Yitzhak Tshuva, recently invested $26.5 million to buy two buildings, with 359 rental apartments altogether, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Samurai Ventures invested 25% from equity and the rest from ten-year loans from Canadian companies. Tshuva's investments through Samurai Ventures are separate from his overseas investments though Delek Real Estate, which he also controls.

In a separate deal, Samurai Ventures bought a building with 148 apartments in Mississauga, Ontario (part of metropolitan Toronto), for $12.2 million. Samurai Ventures owns half of this project and a local investor the other half. Mississauga, with a population of 675,000, is an important economic center.
